Chris Gunter

Operations Supervisor - KMQY

Chris Gunter serves as the Operations Supervisor at Azure Flight Support’s Smyrna location, where he oversees ramp operations, safety, and the development of a highly skilled team of aviation professionals. He began his aviation career in the United States Marine Corps, serving from 2004 to 2009 as an Avionics Technician supporting CH-46 Sea Knight helicopters. During his service, Chris completed two combat deployments to Iraq, further strengthening his foundation in mission-critical operational readiness.

Transitioning into general aviation in 2012, Chris joined Allen Howell and David Augustin at Corporate Flight Management as a Line Service Technician. His strong work ethic, technical expertise, and commitment to service excellence led to progressive leadership roles, including Line Service Supervisor and later Operations Supervisor of the Smyrna base in 2021.

Chris holds a Titan Aviation Certified Expert (ACE) certification and continues to promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and outstanding customer service across all airfield operations.
