Joe and Linda Roberts recently sold over Shelbyville Flight Academy, with mixed emotions to Allen Howell and David Augustin of Azure Flight Support.

The flight school partners said they’ve been in aviation business together for 37 years. “We are proud to announce that Azure Flight Support has acquired Shelbyville Flight Academy, LLC based at the Shelbyville Municipal Airport (KSYI) in Tennessee,” said Howell. “We are honored that the owners, Joe and Linda Roberts, trusted us to take the controls of their growing aviation business.”

Azure Flight Support has aviation business involvement as well in Cleveland and Smyrna. “This acquisition fits into the vision of Azure Flight Support to provide general aviation services at growing general aviation airports in Tennessee and the Southeastern U.S. The Shelbyville Municipal Airport, located in southern middle Tennessee, is positioned well to grow over the next few years as more people move from other areas of the country to live and work in Tennessee.”
