2019 Tennessee Aviation Hall of Fame Gala and Induction Ceremony
The Tennessee Aviation Hall of Fame’s (TAHF) 18th Annual Gala and Induction Ceremony was a big success. We had over 440 in attendance to celebrate the induction of four very special individuals who have made a lasting contribution to aviation in the state of Tennessee and across the nation.
In addition to enshrining the inductees the Board also recognized MNAA President and CEO Doug Kreulen as The 2019 Tennessee’s Aviation Person of the Year.
This gala is the premier aviation event in the state and also serves to raise money to continue funding the Tennessee Aviation Hall of Fame’s ongoing mission to recognize, honor and enshrine individuals whose leadership in or for aviation, whether by exceptional service or extraordinary achievement, has made an enduring contribution to aviation for Tennessee, our nation or the world. The Hall of Fame also supports education of Tennessee Aviation history through the participation in events with the Tennessee State Museum and the distribution of coloring books profiling our hall of fame members to classrooms, churches, airports, and museums across the state. To date TAHF has distributed over 16,000 copies of the first edition coloring books.
