Smyrna Rutherford County Airport (MQY) sits just 15 miles southeast of downtown Nashville, offering quick access to one of the fastest-growing regions in the United States. The airport features two runways, including an 8,048-foot ILS-equipped primary runway, with tower operations from 0700–2200 on weekdays and 0700–1900 on weekends.

Azure Flight Support operates on the west side of the field, adjacent to the airport authority’s three-story terminal. We maintain 19 acres under lease with 50,000 square feet of heated hangar space, 20 T-hangars, and additional land available for private and corporate hangar development.

Our FBO is open 24 hours Sunday through Thursday, until 10:00 PM on Fridays, and from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Saturdays, with 24/7 on-call availability. The facility is fully equipped to handle large passenger and cargo aircraft. We hold a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) fuel contract and routinely support military operations, including aircraft up to the C-17 and KC-135.

We offer courtesy crew cars, access to major rental car providers, and more than ten hotels and numerous restaurants located within a four-mile radius of the airport.

Our Operations Supervisor, Chris Gunter, leads a team of customer service and line service professionals dedicated to providing safe, efficient, and genuinely welcoming service. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick turn or staying longer, our staff is focused on making your visit smooth and comfortable.

As with all Azure locations, we are Titan Aviation Fuels branded, honor Titan contract fuel, and accept all major credit cards. Azure Flight Support is also proud to be the CAA Preferred FBO on the field at MQY.
