Richard Perry

Director of Maintenance - KCSV

Richard Perry is the Director of Maintenance for Azure Flight Support in Crossville Tennessee and supporting Carrier Airways, a part 135 charter airline with Regulatory Compliance, Maintenance Tracking and Planning. With an aviation career that began in 1984, he started by flying charter operations in the Caribbean while simultaneously earning his Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate, later advancing his credentials with an Inspection Authorization (IA) rating. His passion for the industry has taken him through regional airlines, a major cargo carrier, and multiple maintenance environments, giving him extensive experience across Part 135 (charter), Part 121 (airline), and Part 145 (repair station) operations.

Richard’s career has also included overseas assignments, where he has served in both flying and heavy maintenance roles for operations worldwide, including leadership responsibilities as a site lead. In his current role, he is honored to manage two maintenance operations for Azure Flight Support, where he continues to apply his technical expertise and leadership to advance safety, reliability, and excellence in aviation maintenance.
